Hello, all!
Well, first, I wish to congratulate Elta Z. sh'Huit on her upcoming promotion to Command of the USS Sphinx, pending the end of "Short-Sell on the Longshore". And that's where the bad news comes in. For at least a short time, we will be without either an XO or a 2XO - but there is a plan in the works to remedy that issue.
In the meantime, I wish to thank all of you for sticking with the Dauntless, and I wish to also ask that you do me a favor: talk about the ship to your friends. I'm not asking for that dreaded A-word, but just a little word-of-mouth would not hurt a bit.

The command crew of the Dauntless is announcing a great new contest!
We want to hear from you and know what you're interested in for missions. And we know that you all can write up a mission. So, take a shot. Write a mission and submit it in PM - the best mission (as judged by the command crew) will be used right here on the Dauntless!
It's a great way to cut your teeth on mission-writing and to help your fellow crewmen.

Ladies and Gentlemen,
Given the completion of my CO course and the numbers in our crew, we are now officially Operational! With my promotion to Commander, certain others in our crew have have received promotions to go along with it. Please finish up any posts by 2/14, as we will begin Mission 1: "Short-Sell on the Longshore" at that time!
